Mtskheta – Mtskheta is the spiritual capital of Christianity in Georgia. In 337, King Mirian declared Christianity the state religion in Mtskheta. The preaching of St. Nino and the traditions of Samtavro and Svetitskhoveli are closely linked to the country’s spiritual identity. The monasteries located here are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. For centuries, Mtskheta was the capital of the Kingdom of Kartli (Iberia).

Sighnagi – Sighnagi is considered the most romantic town in the Kakheti region and is often called the “City of Love.” Here you will find colorful houses with Italian-style balconies and narrow, staircase-like streets. In the 18th century, King Erekle II built a massive defensive wall around the town, stretching 4.5 kilometers. It includes 23 towers and 6 entrance gates. It is one of the largest surviving fortification walls in the region.
